Alsop High School gives students the chance to continue their studies in Liverpool’s biggest Sixth Form Centre. Our extensive and inclusive curriculum offers over 30 Level 3 courses with a wide mixture of traditional A Levels, Diplomas and vocational BTEC courses. Students also have the opportunity to take a Level 2 course in either Football Coaching or Hair and Beauty. We also provide an exciting enrichment programme to all sixth form students.

We have a strong pastoral team in the sixth form with a Head of Year, two Assistant Heads of Year, a Pastoral Support Mentor and Student Support Officer. This team works together to offer both pastoral and academic support throughout Key Stage 5. Extensive guidance is given for those applying for university with regular UCAS support sessions and trips to universities. Each year a large number of our students go on to university or further education. Something we are very proud of.

Our new sixth form facilities are second to none. State of the art learning and studying facilities are available ensuring that all students have what they need to enjoy, learn and succeed. We have a new Sixth Form Wing which contains a study area and a cybercafé which only sixth form students can access.
