The Sixth Form at Alsop is in an exciting period of development with numbers increasing year on year to over 280 this year. The increasingly wide range of subjects available together with our best ever results in 2007 continues to attract students of all abilities.
The North Central Liverpool Collaborative, involving Alsop, Notre Dame and the North Liverpool Academy, is widely recognised as a successful programme to offer our students a wider curriculum and access to additional facilities and academic experience. Notre Dame is a specialist performing arts college. Complimenting Alsop's dual specialism of Technology and Vocational status.
The Sixth Form also provides students with enrichment opportunities that will broaden their experiences and help prepare them for lifelong learning. These may include the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, driving lessons, voluntary work in the community, sign language, outdoor pursuits and many other activities. Students are encouraged to take a full and active part in school life through Open Days, peer mentoring and school productions. |
A Sixth Form Prospectus, which gives details of the courses available and other aspects of the Sixth Form, is available from school.
