“Pupils receive a range of effective careers education, information, advice and guidance.”“Leaders have established strong links to support pupils with their preparation for further study. Careers guidance is effective. Consequently, the proportion of students moving onto higher education, training or employment has increased”
At Alsop the careers information, advice and guidance given to our pupils is taken very seriously. Good career guidance is critical if young people are to raise their aspirations and capitalise on the opportunities available to them. Pupils in years 10-13 will create accounts on ‘UniFrog’ to help them prepare for their post-16 options.
Throughout the academic year there will be numerous opportunities to get involved in a range of workshops and programmes that we run with a number of external providers including The Princess Trust, Barclays, local Universities and Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs.
