Salary: MPS/UPS – Full Time – Temporary Position

Start date: January 2019

As the largest secondary school in the city, Alsop High School can offer a unique opportunity for teachers to develop their careers supported by an experienced leadership team. Ofsted stated in April 2017, “Teachers, including those who are newly and recently qualified, say that the training programme provided by school leaders to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the school is well planned and effective. They say they are well supported in improving their teaching.”

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, committed individual with the potential to become an outstanding Teacher of Science. The successful candidate should have excellent subject knowledge and will be required to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.

Appointment for this post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two satisfactory references.
