In September 2015 we altered the school uniform for the current year 7. This alteration incorporated the new school badge on the jumper/cardigan and the new badge and braiding on the blazer.

From September 2016 all students will be expected to wear the new blazer and jumper/cardigan; the old style will no longer be in production and unavailable to purchase. The only exception will be for Year 11; if they have no need to purchase a new blazer for the remainder of their time at Alsop, they will be allowed to wear the old style.

The sole supplier for our uniform is Laser Schoolwear, on County Road.

The school tie colours for September 2016 are as follows:

Year Group Tie Colour
Year 7 Purple
Year 8 Navy
Year 9 Green
Year 10 Silver
Year 11 Gold

All students will also be expected to wear a white shirt or blouse; blue will no longer be acceptable. All female students will be expected to wear navy blue socks.

May we also remind you training shoes and sports shoes ARE NOT an acceptable form of footwear to be worn in school. We expect all footwear to be plain black and to comply with the standards set of a school shoe.

Students are not permitted to wear jewellery to school.

We believe these rules form the basis of the school and help set the correct tone and ethos to a working establishment; ensuring your child has a solid education, focusing on established ground rules, with a willingness to comply, progress and succeed.
