Alsop students participate in the Merseyside STEM challenge

This week twelve Year 8 students participated in the Merseyside STEM challenge at Liverpool John Moores University.

They worked in mixed groups alongside students from Merchant Taylors School, Liverpool College, Broughton Hall and Chesterfield High to complete three challenges. These includes a medical diagnostic challenge, programming a robot and creating an e-fit of a suspected criminal ( it was me!).

The students were an absolute credit to Alsop and at the closing ceremony they met the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, the Queens representative here in Liverpool.
