Hi there I “Now That's What I Call Christmas @ Alsop 2018!'

This year Alsop students have made a great effort to share a bit of thought for the homeless and families in need.

Following an assembly about homelessness Year 10 students decided to create Blessing Bags to be given to homeless people. Over 100 bags containing basic essentials such as a toothbrush, soap and sanitary products were put together by a group of caring students.

The bags will be distributed by students accompanied by Alsop teacher Ms Tapia-Bowes.

Ms Tapia-Bowes comments:

“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Alsop students who have brought in the items and put the bags together. It demonstrates that young people do care about people in need.”
