This week the Manchester bombing has been very much in our thoughts and prayers. All Alsop students have been given the opportunity to consider the impact of terrorism.
Special prayers were said during assemblies. Also during the extended form period all students were given the opportunity to think, speak and reflect about this tragedy.
As a school we have spoken about how important it is that we do talk about the bombing. Staff have stressed that we do have “more in common” and that “communities are stronger than terror”
As a school we send our condolences to those who have lost family members. We continue to hold those who are injured on our prayers.
Below is a copy of the Intelligence Letter from Merseyside Police reminding us of the role we all can play in the reporting of intelligence.
