Last term, a group of Year 10 pupils took part in the IntoUniversity trip to Anfield Stadium. As part of the visit, they engaged in a Business in Focus workshop, where they were divided into two teams and asked to create a campaign proposing why the next Olympic Games should be held in their chosen city.

The task involved considering a range of factors, including financial implications, the city’s economic and cultural context, and designing promotional materials such as logos, advertisements, and merchandise. Pupils then presented their ideas in a boardroom setting to employees from the Bank of America, who offered constructive feedback.

Both teams had the opportunity to present their final campaigns, and a winning team was chosen. The pupils showed good collaboration, creativity, and communication skills throughout the day.

Well done to all involved.
