Our Chess Club has been going from strength to strength, with more students taking up the game, playing their peers, and developing their skills. It has been fantastic to see this growing enthusiasm, and we want to see more students joining our club, wanting to compete, and enjoy chess in a friendly and welcoming environment.  Chess in Schools and Communities come into Alsop every Thursday after school and has been proved that learning chess leads to improved logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and cognitive skills.
